Now Playing Tracks

A WIP for my final project of the summer semester.  A self portrait as someone famous; in this case: Dr. Frankenstein.  The first image is a lighting reference photo I took with my cellphone in my pitch-black bathroom with a small flashlight suspended from my shower curtain track.  Then, for the second image, I sketched over it roughly in Photoshop.  Finally I printed that out and used my newly purchased projector (a really cheap kids projector that only projects objects that are 3” or less in size) to trace it onto some illustration board where I am painting it with acrylics.
Ignore that what will be a brain is now orange and looks vaguely like I’m holding an enormous egg yolk in a jar.
